PERMAIBUDI is also involved in conducting a donation drive during the month of Ramadhan. In this holy month we get a lot of requests from generous donors who wish to give donations to less fortunate families in Malaysian and also Cambodia.
In Malaysian we would distribute food packages worth RM150.00 to each needy family. In 2024 we managed to distribute food packages to a total of 458 families in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Kelantan.
We also distribute food packages to the needy in Cambodia. In 2024 we managed to distribute food packages to 140 families in 4 different villages. On top of that we also conduct iftar (breaking of fast) programmes in Cambodia. In 2024 we managed to hold 8 series of iftar programmes in 4 different villages and also at our hostel, benefitting more than 1000 people in total.
We distribute food packages for the needy in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Kelantan. Each package contains essentials such as cooking oil, rice, flour, and sugar among others.
Our operation in Cambodia is the same, but with some differences to better fit the needs and desires of the Cambodians.
Iftar for the kampung folks are carried out throughout the month of Ramadan. The whole village community would come together to prepare and cook the meals.
